Nouwen Legacy

Starting this new year 2011, we are launching a new retreat/workshop series based on the theme of “spiritual polarities” (polar opposites) and how Henri Nouwen navigated his way through the tensions that usually accompany them.  In our spiritual journey, we all inevitably encounter such polarities and the challenge facing us is how we can creatively live in tension like Nouwen did.

We will offer two parallel series of three parts each in two different venues and dates. Participants can choose one or two or all three topics from either one or both of the series. Topics include polarities like woundedness/healing, self-owning/self-giving, presence/absence, solitude/community, life/death, and suffering/glory.

To register for any of these retreats, click one of the Upcoming Events above. You can register for more than one event at the same location in one registration. There is a discount if you register for all three events in the same location. If you wish to register for events at both locations, you will need to register twice because of the pricing difference between the two locations and the limitations of our registration system.
