General Information
On Friday morning, October 24, we received word that Wayne Anderson, one of the Institute's four founding faculty, passed away after an undetermined illness. His remains were found in his apartment the night before by local police who had been called to check on him after he had not returned calls or emails for a while. The coroner's initial report is that the cause of death was coronary-related.

We mourn his passing. He had a very formative influence on the origin and development of The Leadership Institute. His loss will impact us greatly.

Wayne is survived by:
• Sister, Eunice Bergman (FL)
• Brother, Clint Anderson (Cleveland, OH)
• N
ephew, Ken Sundberg (Riverside, CA)
• Niece, Diane Ettore (FL)
• Niece, Lauren Miller (NC)
• Niece, Kristin DiBiase
• And ten grand nephews & nieces

Many who experienced Wayne's ministry knew that he talked a lot about the importance of extended personal communion with God (EPC). These are extended times of solitude, silence and prayer. One of the Institute staff members, Gem Fadling, suggested that, for Wayne, EPC now means "eternal personal communion" with God!

In lieu of flowers, the board of Centering Ministries, Wayne's non-profit ministry, suggests a donation to the "Wayne A. Anderson Memorial Scholarship Fund" of The Leadership Institute (the ministry Wayne served as a founding faculty member). Funds will be used to scholarship Christian leaders desiring to receive the kind of training that was dear to Wayne's heart, but for whom funds are limited. Donations can also be made by check and mailed to:
